Donors & Partners
Contributions support open-source sustainability and subsidized access for non-profits and micro-enterprises.
Why This Model
Traditional grant programs give away software licenses — per-seat donations that scale linearly. This model is different.
Our stack relies on self-hosted open-core, so your support goes to fixed infrastructure and engineering — compute, storage, bandwidth — rather than recurring license bills. Doubling the number of beneficiaries does not double the cost.
Ways to Contribute
Software donations
Enterprise licenses for self-hosted platforms, cloud credits, or in-kind software grants. We work with ChromeOS, Cloudflare, GitHub, and Tailscale grant programs.
Cash grants
Direct funding for colocation, bandwidth, storage, and the engineering labor to operate the central stack.
Hardware donations
Refurbished laptops, Chromebooks, networking equipment, or servers. ChromeOS Flex can resurrect hardware that would otherwise be e-waste.
